Our unique experiences both as individuals and as a quartet provide valuable insights into the life of a classical musician today. Recital Programs
We are always working to develop new performance programs that highlight unique voices in the arts and feature our favorite composers and collaborators. Take a look at some of our curated programs, including special interdisciplinary shows available for tour.
UTILITY
UTILITY is a continuous performance by Emissary Quartet (four flutes) and Synchronous (dancers). Our April 2024 performances took place throughout three rooms in the Blue Gallery in New York City.

EMISSARY ARTISTS
Enjoy the opportunity to watch artists go through their process in real time, creating art in response to music performed by Emissary Quartet.
First performed in November 2023 at BOX13 ArtSpace in Houston, featuring local artists and a thematic program of nature.
This program features a casual atmosphere to enjoy listening and watching while mingling and taking in the artists' creative process.
Education
All four members of EQ are experienced educators and have unique perspectives in the world of classical music. We bring our experience together to cultivate compelling and useful classes for young musicians.

BECOMING AN ENTREPRENEUR
In this class, EQ discusses the entrepreneurial nature of having a career in music,
which requires the skills of an administrator, teacher, and creator. This class will
offer insight and inspiration into just how vast a musical career can be and the
skills needed to get you there.

NAVIGATING LIFE AFTER GRADUATION
How four flutists navigated life after college and created fulfilling careers in
music. We’ll share each of our unique journeys, including how we’ve established
ourselves in our cities, made money, and found performance opportunities.
Experiences includes entrepreneurship, private teaching, university teaching,
military bands, music administration, and more.
