2024-2025 Season

The 2024-2025 season features EQ's return to Texas and exciting plans to record our debut album! Things kick off with the National Flute Association Convention in San Antonio, TX this August, where members of EQ will be presenting a lecture together and featuring individually as performers and presenters! In October, the group will return to Houston, TX, for a week of in-depth rehearsals and recording.

Spring 2025 brings EQ back to Houston for the rest of their album recording sessions and the world premiere of Nicky Sohn's new work for flute quartet at Archway Gallery.

National Flute Association Convention: "Reaching Out"

EQ will present a lecture as part of the NFA Convention in San Antonio! The lecture, titled "Reaching Out: Making Interdisciplinary Connections" will highlight how we have been able to plan and produce artistic projects with other types of artists - and how you can, too!

EQ returns to Houston this fall for a week of in-depth recording for our upcoming album, as well as collaborations with local flute studios and a public performance.

World Premiere with Nicky Sohn

In addition to finishing our album recording sessions, EQ will give the world premiere performance of Nicky Sohn's new work for flute quartet that will be featured on our upcoming album, [moment]um! The premiere performance will take place at Archway Gallery.
